Not surprised nor apologetic. Memorial Service on Saturday was bittersweet. Managed to drag myself to 2 stores, pick up coffee (+ 2 donuts), & get home in time to Zoom into the service. Will have to reach out to my cousin and see how he's doing later this week. Was very surprised at how many of the photos on display at the service were from lil sis and me. You would have thought her brother, nieces, or "friends" would have had access to more. Was supposed to have an interview with a Recruiter, but she never called, text, or emailed (?) heavy sigh!
PTO yesterday, started with driving myself to Aqua Therapy for my evaluation. The Therapist, that hasn't worked with me since my initial assessment, determined that I'm showing improvement, so I'll need to schedule more sessions. Only in the pool for 30 minutes, sharing with yet another woman of size that also managed to maintain personal space.
Then had to hustle, hit two drive-thru's for coffee and fast food. In the house in time for my phone interview with another Recruiter. He was terrific and has sent me 3 possible job opportunities!
Meanwhile had to lay down for a few minutes, only 15, because it was time for my video Pain Dr. appointment. So irritating having to correct them almost every time on what they're seeing me for, and what I'm doing right now. The appointment was scheduled for 1:15, but they didn't sign in until 1:32, so I literally had to haul ass from the house in order to drive to my 2:15 pm Mammogram appointment.
At least that went smoothly; Handicapped Space in front of the building, so I didn't have to walk from the parking garage. I had already "checked in" on line so just a few questions, and have a seat. No sooner had I sat down, when I was called back, and since I was dressed for success (lol) easy breezy lemon squeezy! Well maybe not that easy, considering I had to stand without anything to securely hold on to. Had to break twice and sit down while she was repositioning the machine, but frankly it was the easiest Dr.'s appointment of the day!
No rush now, had spotted gas for $5.37 so went and filled up. Hit the drive thru next door for more fast food, unfortunately was there for 20 minutes waiting for them to take my freaking order. Another drive thru for a coffee to have this morning, quick trip thru the drive up ATM to deposit my emergency cash to cover the gas, and finally home! Another day off full of adventure and pain.
Back in the office this morning, and wasn't here an hour before she's yelling at me because the system didn't run one of the automatic tasks. Seriously, calm the F down. So hope one of these positions pans out. I really need to get away from this place, both mentally and physically.
