I can't even deal with this. Not just plateau, actually back up again almost a pound.
Now what? Down 300 calories a day to under 1000? I can't even think about that.
So depressed.

My wife is on 1200 Calories & almost your same height. I recommend staying in this range. Any activity on a regular basis?

I feel you sister. I lost from 380 to 273 and I am not stuck here for over a year. I added walking around two miles a day and still nothing. I do not know what to do. I am logged at 1900 but take about half of that. what to do.

I'm sorry. I meant to say you have to keep trying. Nothing changes until you change it. it is frustrating but you have it in you to beat this issue. Don't give up🙏🙏🙏🙏

When we cut our calories too low, our bodies conserve by reducing the number of calories it burns. I don’t know what your diet is right now, but eating a balanced diet of unprocessed foods helped me a lot. Keep going❣️

I been trying to stay on a 1000 cal but get well above it by supper time. If I don't plan what I eat, I do fast just to get done . Been at 211 to 213 for months. But I don't exercise at all. I am sure you will be able to fix this bump in the road. I have decided to cement mine with exercise.

Agree with moopie. Balanced healthy meals & snacks and regular exercise are key. Filling me up with lots of salads & lean protein & snacks like natural almonds really helped. And I don’t think I could’ve reached my goal without gaining muscle through weight workouts. You can do it!!

I wouldn't worry about it. My weight fluctuates so much I don't get too upset. It will go up 3 pounds one day for no reason at all. But it comes down again and as long as the overall trend is down, I just expect and accept the daily scale craziness!

I am sorry - I know the frustration - sometimes I calorie cycle. down a few days then up to "normal"

You'll probably be back down again tomorrow. Don't let it derail you!

I find I don't lose as well if I cut my calories too low. I eat 1500-1600 and I am losing an average of 1.7 per week. BUT, I log (I measure in grams) EVERYTHING, so I know exactly how much I'm eating every day. Good luck on your journey! 🌈🌈🌈

You have been stalled a long time. I can totally relate. I didn't lose till I got my thyroid meds. Most docs don't treat it correctly. If it is one of your problems, go read the web site STOP THE THYROID MADNESS. have you tried keto? You wouldn't have the water fluctuations. I'm sorry your going through this. Same thing with me.

Do you have a thyroid problem? Are you on thyroid meds? A friend of mine was trying so hard to lose weight, no more than 10-20 pounds and she did not lose no matter what she did. She said she was in tears after even trying IF like I told her I did. She said her doctor said she needed to eat less. She went to a dietician who told her it was her thyroid. She's been on thyroid meds for years and the dietician told her that's why she is having trouble losing weight. She put her on a diet she finds easy to follow but told her to eat 4 to 5 times a day and not expect to lose more than 1/2 pound a week. So far she is excited about losing .61 pounds on average per week and is happy with what she is eating.

Maybe up the calories a few days this week and then the other days switch to what you are doing 😊💜💚

I learned to never weigh myself the day after I've had any alcoholic drinks and that includes wine. I find the day after, I usually put on a little weight. I really think it's bloating and that might be what happened to you, Abba. Plateaus suck, but you've got to keep pushing through. Look for non-scale victories instead. If you're lifting any weights, you might gain some weight since you're gaining muscle mass. Don't know where you are in life with your hormones, but periomenopause will pack on the pounds. I didn't start losing weight again until I got to the postmenopausal state. Now, my slow weight loss is my own fault. Just hang in there. Also, you must eat at least 3 meals per day. This way you don't eat everything at one sitting. It's harder for your body to manage eating in bulk, but easier if your meals are broken up through out the day. You can do this Abba. I know you can!

I know the frustration too :/ strength training? if you're creative, you can always squeeze some more squats etc into a busy schedule :) https://www.nomeatathlete.com/fit-parenting/
