I read my Weight Watchers book today and figured out Filling Foods - they are the same as the core program, so I am going to start doing that. I am getting tired of counting points, but if I follow the Filling Foods list then I only have to count the points for things that are not on the list, like oil and butter and juices. Probably I'll still put most of what I eat on here though until I get the hang of portion control and I want to stick to my 20 points a day to see how much I can lose doing that.

My two daughters are both home - one is very busy, working and looking forward to her last year of high school next year, the other one is not working, hangs with the boyfriend, and on her computer playing video games and waiting for college to start up again - hopefully she'll get a job soon.

I find myself very down lately over my life - so many bad choices and so much time waiting for my next big break that didn't come - plus gaining 50 pounds in 20 years of marriage is so easy and hard to get out of. How is it that other people I know on WW lost 20 pounds just like that? Must have just seemed fast to me since I wasn't doing it. And now I am not really gung ho until this week so let's just see what happens when I really stick to the plan!
