Not sure why, but I got really angry at one of my friends for saying "Check out BLE when you want to get thinner for real." Ok, so maybe it will work to help me lose weight because now I am so PO'd I am probably going to stick to my plan of eating well and lifting weights to lose these last 30 pounds just to spite that friend! Haha I play myself sometimes!
The basis for the BLE diet is: eat less, skip processed food, and avoid sugar and flour. The plan centers around foods as addictions and provides a support community to help you restructure your habits to help keep you on the diet properly. Gee, it's a miracle cure! Eat LESS! Avoid CARBS! Get your FRIENDS involved! Yeah, I don't think calling it something new and charging me some money is going to get that to work any better than it ever has.
I started "losing weight" in 2009. I got divorced after a 25 year marriage, became an empty nester, lost my father to cancer, bought a vacation house, sold my house after 32 years, bought a new house and then had the Covid year like everyone else! In that time I got up to 183 pounds and then down to 156 again since joining Fatsecret. Technically I have lost 12 pounds since starting here but man, that was a busy 12 years!
It's good to go back and check out my fs history. I can do it. If I can't do it now when I am feeling like I am in the right head space, I will still just keep working on it!
