Looking back:
Joined Fatsecret in July 2016 at 183 pounds. Lost 27, gained back some.
Currently at 162.
So at one point, I had the formula in place to lose 1.5 pounds per week. Diet and exercise together: 10,000 steps per day, 1100 to 1200 calories per day. Low fat with balanced carbs and protein.
My goal starting today is to focus on diet through the end of the year. I do exercise and I have the fitbit and will fit in what I can, but I think I use worrying about exercise as an excuse not to do other things that I need to do like getting together with friends and taking care to get my house ready for the winter and my cottage for the summer.
Going full on Mediterranean diet. Still on no-bread November which takes many hits each day unfortunately, but I had no alcohol all weekend nor since so that's going well.

Good job on the alcohol-free weekend and half of the work week (so far!) Weight loss (or maintenance, I hear) is a constant balancing act. You seem to have a good handle on what works for you. Keep up the great work!

Tough time of year to focus on diet, but one of the most rewarding. Success following the holidays feels so good. You can do it!
