No-bread November is harder than it seems. Bread is everywhere! We are including rice and pasta in the mix as well as potatoes - so hard to avoid all of them!
I stocked up on cheeses, and made some soup. Bought eggs and spinach and will make a couple of egg items to eat. I have apples and pears. Also bought several kinds of beans to make up for the missing bread products.

Now I have 3 friends doing the No-bread November so I have lots of support.

Good for you! Cutting out carbs in a big way. Cold turkey is delicious and carb free!

But Cheese? I've just started counting calories and I am shocked at the calories in cheese.

I agree with you about cheese Sharon. 100 calories per oz. if everything else is getting cut though, there’s room for cheese! 🧀

Riced cauliflower can substitute for rice and spaghetti squash can pass for pasta if the sauce has enough flavor. Alsso, sliced cauliflower and cheese for au gratin.

Not a keto person, but if they're allowed shirataki noodles make a decent substitute for pasta and around 15-20 cals for a whole package. Just rinse them thoroughly and dry them out (I lay them out on a sheet pan with paper towels, but you can just pan roast them without oil too) before adding to your chosen pasta sauce. Most major grocery stores will carry some brand. Walmart in my area carries Pasta Zero and it's in the produce section by the vegetarian stuff and egg roll wrappers.
