I read somewhere something really interesting. Why is it like evryone is acting like they have to be athletes? walking is good enough. As long as u dont sit on ur ass all day, as long as u get moving and just be healthy like that. U sdont need to do hard sports...to be healthy

right?.. is so much kind with your knees as well. But then again, depends on the person I supposse, if you feel energetic and way better right after some hard sport then is great and obviously your body is letting you know, but if it drains your energy away and you feel exhausted afterwards, why not do something more enjoyable instead? ..hahaha I suddenly feel so "opinionated" with my little walks around the block, I don't know how it will be in winter time though, probably I'll just keep my mouth shut :P

hahaha..Thanks! , I just got messaged that my old picture may be "promoting anorexia" ..so I thought I'll better switch it :P, this one looks super neutral and still does the motivation job I need :)

Excellent. That old pic was disturbing, though I felt a little better when you posted that it wasn't actually a picture of your own body. I just want you to be happy and healthy! Some people are naturally very slim, but I worry about you dropping below 100 pounds, unless you're under five feet tall. Anyway, you sound happy, and your healthy walks are move activity than I've been getting, so good for you!

that's exactly the word she use: disturbing..lol was it your other account kpwcalories? :P

Nope! I think I've expressed my concerns to you directly on posts before. As well as my support. Those of us with too much weight worry about you super skinny people, just as I imagine some of you worry about us overweight types in return. :-)

hey! congrats on the loss. Yeah, i love to walk. although it's a bit different for me now that i'm totally blind...no cool scenery. I use my imagination. i used to walk everywhere all the time. funny though, i was still heavy, but i was healthier. I'm not sure what i'll do come winter either. Guess there's always the indoor malls. Eeeep!

@BPaula47 I wanted to tell you, that when I was in college going to Pasadena City College, I had a totally blind, young man in my history class. It was interesting, that he would come to class late, everyday, and everyone would be listening to the professor, and then their attention would be directed to him, and the students would help him to be seated. He would usually, then raise his hand to direct a number of questions to the professor. One time, after class, I started talking to him to get to know him. He asked me if I wanted to go to a bar across the street from the school, and I told him sure I would. We went to the bar, and had a beer, and it was so long ago, I don't remember what we talked about, but I do remember, he took out his wallet to pay his bill, and asked me what denomination the dollar bills were, that were in his hand. He was an interesting guy, who said he worked phones on a Suicide Hot Line. He laughed, that when people would call him about their suicidal problems, he would tell them, that he was blind. He said he loved that work. Not sure whatever happened to him, but he was a good guy, and a friend. I will friend you, and would like to know more about you.

13dias, Oh. no worries, ask me anything. i'd rather people asked then assumed stuff, ya know. I actually was born totally blind. My Mom's contracted German Measles and it settled into my eyes so i was born with Congenital cataracts. apparently, there was allot of that going around in 1969. anyway i've had a series of operations starting when i was about four months so i was able to get some partial sight back. i was partially sighted for decades, but they always told me i would loose the sight again. they just didn't know when. It happened when i was about 30 and it just gradually faded away. I had been diagnosed with diabetes by then and i thought it was because of that, but nope. well, the Drs said no. So...? To use my computer, i use a text-to-speech software program that talks to me. You can choose voices so mine is a sexy Australian guy named Lee. He sounds very very close to that Crocadile Dundee guy except a little more refined It's an older version of JAWS (the name of the program) so sometimes it doesn't always work with some of the websites, but so far so good up here.

@warrenwinter, Oh that's cool. i often wondered what some of my classmates thought of me when i was in school...hightschool and college of course. i always tried to be low key, but i don't think that went over so well. In highschool, i was in a class with a few other kids who had vision problems like me, but college was a whole different story I was excited one semester when i walked into my Speech class (i actually hated speaking in public and was dreading this class) and lo and behold! my instructor was totally blind! His name was Dr. Smith. (not the Lost in Space kind of Dr. Smith either. He was actually pretty cool teacher.) It was great! It was the first time i had seen someone like me well, working at a great job. Not some of the stuff they were trying to train us for back then. and sure friend away..i'm always up for making new ones. :D

@BPaula47 Funny, you just named one of my favorite shows of the old days. I LOVED "Lost in Space"! Those old classic programs like The Addams Family, The Munsters, and on and on. So VERY COOL! I know all the songs, that go with them. The entire Beverly Hillbillies song. I even would drive to see their mansion in Beverly Hills. They finally put a tarp over the gate, so people couldn't see it. I am one of those Maps of the Stars guy here in LA, always looking for famous houses. lol You can contact me any way you like. I live in LA, where do you live? warrenwinter4@gmail.com

Funny, I taught everything from K-12 for 36 years, but I was extremely phobic about talking in front of people when I was in college. It got very embarrassing at times. I finally, got accustomed to speaking. I taught high school my last ten years.

@warrenwinter, Yeah, i love those old shows, too. i would rush home from school just in time to catch Buck Rogers or Dark Shadows or even Star Trek the original and Dr. Who. I loved the Adams family. I never could figure ut how Mortisha could just stand their nonchalantly while Gomez kissed her up and down her arm like that. I used to twitch just watching it. Do you remember Family affair? i never got used to speaking in public. but i did get an A in Dr Smith's class. I was just so impressed with him that i worked hard despite myself. i guess i wanted to impress him back. he told me when i took my final (he gave it to me personally because we couldn't find an accessible format in time) that i was the only visually impaired student he had...so far. i ran into him years later and he was still teaching but in Texas. he had also started a music career as a gospel singer...(raised eyebrow) things that make you go hummm! Oh, sorry, i forgot to mention i'm in Lansing, Michigan. My grandparents used to live in L.A. i was out there once when i was about 10 and it was hot. I think there was a severe drought going on because my grand mother was very determined that no one use more than an inch or two to take a bath that summer. lord, the things you remember... anyway, i'll drop you an email, too.

Family Affair! Uncle Bill! Buffy and Jody! Mr. French! And that cheery opening music. Thanks for the happy memories.
