My brother died today. He's free from his pain. Thankfully my nephew flew in to FL yesterday and was able to see him before he passed over. My heart is broken that I was unable to travel to see him myself. So glad we got to Zoom a few weekends ago. I only hope my bil recorded it.

HR was kind and offered me bereavement so I am out and off until I start the new job next week. Just sharing the news before you start wondering what happened to me. I'm here just not up for sharing at the moment.

Keep up the good vibes and thank you again for all the support.

Ah Jeannie, I am so sorry for your loss of your brother. I know the pain of losing a beloved sibling. But I also know the relief of someone finally free of pain. Holding you and your family in my heart.

So sorry for the loss of your brother. I still miss my sister who died 6-1/2 years ago. Thankfully, I know she is in Heaven and that I'll see her again. That makes all the difference. Glad you got a few days off. Use them not only to grieve, but also to rest up and be ready for your new job start next week.
