Yesterday's interview went well. This morning got a text from the Recruiter asking how fast could I do a drug test, so I'm taking that as a good sign that I didn't screw up. Fingers crossed they give me advance notice, so I'll know when I have to drive again. All the driving these past 5 days has killed me.

Saturday got to my originally scheduled nail appointment too late, so had to scramble to find a place that would take a walk-in. First time I've had a mani-pedi since before March 2020. TOTAL NIGHTMARE, but toes got painted at least, and nails look great. Then driving out to Glendale for my hair, first the arduous drive, then
the up/down & wait to get a really terrific hair cut & style for almost nothing. Will have to post photo from phone, since computer doesn't have camera, and I'm not syncing my cell with this dedicated work computer!

Yesterday had the interview first thing in the morning, thank God! There on time, and it went smoothly.
From there in search of breakfast, but no luck so ended up in a McDonald's drive thru before heading to Pain Dr's appointment. The parking there is always a challenge, but after circling the lot and parking garage, ended up with a spot within not too bad of a walking distance from the front door. Half hour early of my "15 minute beforehand" check in time, should have given me time to eat, but nope food sat in my bag thru out. Appointment had been changed for me to only meet with his PA, but because she couldn't determine what his game plan was for moving forward, he still ended up having to see me. That meant that I was there for almost 2 hours. He's still sold on the Low-dose Naltrexone, so ANOTHER 3 months with no pain meds, now going to be on 6 mg.
Now I'm racing the clock getting to my Neurologist appointment, so still no time to eat. GPS keeps trying to send me who knows where, but fortunately I kind of knew how to get there from where I was and made it on time as well. Now I'm hurting bad and can barely walk, but didn't have to wait, as they were ready for me as soon as the broad at the front desk finished verifying everything I had already done when I checked in on-line on Sunday. UGH! Neurologist agrees there's nothing left he can do for me neurologically speaking, however thinking outside the box, he's going to try and get a Botox shot to my psoas muscle approved by my insurance (here we go again) and see if that won't relive a lot of my pain and give me back some mobility. I'm exhausted, can barely stand, let alone walk, but still have to get back to the Jeep and drive home. Fortunately lil sis had convinced me to cancel Aqua Therapy, cuz there's no way I could have done anything more.
Got home and straight to bed, no time to eat, pee, etc., just had to lay down. Got back up around 7(?) to finally eat something, and feed the kitties. BOOM out goes the ac, tv, and lights. ARGH! No power for the next 3 hours, meant I was now hot on top of everything else. Thankfully the power was restored so I could try and sleep, but pain kept waking me up so...

Morning started off with being on the little bus, which meant I had to stand up and move once we got to the next passenger, because these buses don't have enough room for passage when there's a wheelchair, especially one of the big motorized ones like this guy has. Had just gotten to the office when I got the text from the Recruiter asking how soon could I take the drug test. Told him it would have to be tomorrow, since I didn't drive. He said no worries could be a few days until they have the paperwork ready, so I must have done well in the interview. They haven't discussed salary, benefits, etc. with me yet, but I think y'alls positive thoughts are sure pointing in the direction of me getting this job.

Keep it up please. I so appreciate all of your support.

Praying things continue to go well in the recruitment department! I'm so sorry that you have to live with this constant pain - it must be very discouraging!

Can you not get a temporary handicap hanging tag? I would think your pain Dr would sign golf on it and it would make your life easier right now.

Why is your dr refusing to give you meds? Could a patient advocate help?
