The heat has been crazy! I am sure you all in the southern parts nearer the equator will scoff, but 90 degrees is too hot for us hear in New England. The humidity gets up there, over 80% it's stifling!
But despite the fact that at 7:30 it was 87 degrees F, I went dancing last night. Maybe the 1 pound loss was water weight...I'll take it!
The farmer attended the dance last night also but was flying to the west coast at 3 am so he hung out at my house for a short bit and we watched tv. It was sweet to lounge watching a favorite show and have someone else laugh at the same time like he was listening to and also enjoying the show. I am going to go with "Nothing happened" for any further questions about the activities - it was enough that he stopped by on his way to the airport. Hopefully he makes it back to come by again!
I did not have any cookies at the dance, just a little lemonade which will be logged but I really think the sugar is affecting my arthritis so may try a no-added-sugar week to see if it does.

glad you enjoyed yourself. and yes the heat is bad down here too. I am from up north and I think the hardest part is to adjust from winter in the zero range to 20, then the summer in the 90's is killer. down here we adjust far less when summer hits. my winters rarely have a low of 30, mostly in the 40's. that is cold to me!

I hate hot weather and 90 is too hot for me too. And there is very little humidity where I live, but I can't handle dry heat either. My ideal weather is in the high 60's to low 70's.

Glad you got together with your new friend before he had to leave. I'm a 20 year transplant from the Midwest to Florida. The humidity here is just crazy, but I can tolerate the summer heat okay. Then again, I'm such a baby now, if the temps drop below 80 degrees I'm looking for my winter coat (aka: sweatshirt jacket).
