Today was a gray day outside, but I had a fun afternoon with my second grader Girl Scouts. Two moms helped and we had 8 girls. So much going on! And I had only one cookie during snack.
The girls are fun! We are going to add props to a funny song for our next meeting - "Found a Peanut" and everyone has a costume planned! Funny.
My inspiration for food came from Splendidhammer's food diary: he has hit 2000 calories a day so well that I just took some of his ideas and split them in two! I had yogurt and peaches today, and pizza, which I found on his food list. It worked! I had an extra piece of pizza for dinner, but since I had planned my snacks for later, I eliminated the later snack and made it under 1000 calories. That is it for today! Yesterday was a party night - I couldn't resist the cheese! I recorded as much as I could remember, and I am looking to average out to 1100 calories a day within the week. My fridge has lots of veggies so I think I can keep it up, and I even bought veggie burgers which aren't the brand SH likes, but I bought them before I read about the brand he likes!
I am crammed in by boxes today, since Mr. Dabba-for-now put in a major effort to pack up some stuff. Moving day on the 15th - so much to do after he goes; I am not looking forward to the cleanup!
