Oh no! Yfritz how long is your program? Mine is 9 weeks. The first week I doubt I was even jogging a mile per session… the rest was walking. If the pain is getting worse don’t just push through it!

Better shoes helped my knees a lot. Good luck my friend ❤️

strengthening the muscles around your knees will help support them

I mean, go see your dr to make sure you haven’t torn anything, and they might be able to recommend you a course of PT or OT to strengthen the joint.

Have you tried bone broth? Maybe try lowering sodium some? I also like cindylynnwho’s advice, good quality footwear.

Try Arnica people swear by it, when my daughter was training to be a professional ballerina, that’s all we used on her ,it really works. I hope it does for you too 🙏

Funny. I was doing a quick back pack trip last year and the knee was getting sore. Talking to my buddy and as we walked and discovered if I still walked normally, not allowing a limp or favoring the better leg, the knee felt fine after a bit. This is not founded on anything other than that and a couple other experiences. And of course rest ice and elevation when I am home.

Cho-pat, but that’s for stability issues. If it’s inner joint pain, it’s taking a break and good shoes.

Ocean girl i forgot—my recent surgery surgeon had me on arnica twice a day for 30 days post surgery!!!! Yfritz look into that (but i still want you to get an X-ray/mri to make sure its not serious)

A physical therapist would be a great person to ask - also make sure you aren't ramping up too quickly. for those of us with sensitive body appendages, we have to be careful how we increase our load. A PT could give exercises to help strengthen whatever imbalance is causing the knee pain. It could also be your shoes. Hokas gave me knee pain until I got used to them because my knees weren't used to the rocker utility in the shoe. feel better friend ❤️

You will find your solution. I landed on Hydrolyzed collagen and MSM crystals in my green tea every day. Also, straddle squats twice a week. At 71 years of life, there is no pain in my knees, although I never push me past 5 miles in any one day. But even when I was newer, I never ignored pain - at least not physical.

I occasionally get twinges creaks re age etc I normally do a combo of two things reduce the workload or the weight bearing on my joint and do more strength / stretching only own body weight exercises though no lifting weights - I’m no medical expert though for sure, I know Autumn / winters on the way via my knee joint that had a cartilage removed years ago “it sings to me in the morning this time of year”
Stay positive ☘️

My cousin swears by tumeric & black pepper supplements. His knees are bone on bone and he said it helps tremendously. When he quit taking them the pain was back. I just bought some from Costco but there are some drugs and health conditions they warn against taking it with. I hope you feel better soon! Our minds are willing but sometimes our bodies just won't cooperate!

Stretching and strengthening, leg extensions, leg curls and squats.
No drugs, I want to feel the pain. I think it is a critical warning I should never hide.
Annualy Hyaluronic acid knee injections, three of them at each one because I do not risk losing my cartilage. When I was fat it was twice each year.

Supe yes I rested and recovered👍 Those challenges are not silly! Running miraculously fixed my injured back. More importantly though, it got me out of a funk, probably endorphins, yes?

Wifey I’m exempt from injuries. I was once hit by a car while bicycling, tossed into the air like a toy. The bicycle died but I walked home ok. I seem to have the feline righting reflex🐈⬛
