Did not follow the plan at all today. I volunteered today and ran around, so at least I got some exercise. I measured out some almonds yesterday and ate two ounces today - nuts have a lot of calories! My house is a shambles - totally got away from me over the holidays. I'll get it together by the weekend though, since I invited people over!

Nuts do have a lot of calories, but such good nutrition that it's worth carving out room for them. Plus, they've found that the net calories your body absorbs is less than the official calorie count. Nevertheless, calorie-dense enough that they're definitely something to measure and limit 👍

I like raw unsalted almonds and measure measure measure for the same reason you listed! I like to invite people because ti will force me to clean, too!
