So, Wednesday my daughter crashed my car into a guardrail. She is fine, her new front tooth is fine, my car is totalled. So now, I have to drive the stinky borrowed manual-transmission car and the girls have to coordinate the second car because the 3rd car is undriveable and has to be replaced. Blah. I hate when that happens. And - get this - she did not want to tell me where she was taking said second car because "mom, I'm 20 years old" - right, but where are you taking MY CAR? So when you crash, I will have an idea of how much aggravation I will have visiting you in the hospital and recovering my other car? sheesh.

I have been bad with food, although I did exercise 3 times this week. One step at a time. Woody is still calling me, and I see him at dance, but he has told several people that we broke up so at least I don't have to.

Some days, instead of on a roller coaster, I feel like I live in a bumper-car pavilion. I have been reassured by friends that, for better or worse, this is not likely to change soon.

At least it's Friday! Going out with some friends from work tonight and some other friends tomorrow - hopefully I will have found a new car by tomorrow night.

It is Friday lady. Breathe. Sometimes things just overwhelm us. I'm glad your daughter is doing alright and you have insurance. Have a good time with your friends. I also finally get to say I have a date tonight as well! Take your time and get a really good deal on another car.

Oh my God. So sorry about your car and your daughter and so happy she is fine. Kids...it never ends with them. Hope you had a great time Friday with friends. Hopefully you will find a good replacement for Woody that makes you happy. Keeping my fingers crossed Abba!!

Yes - abba - I don't have children to worry about at least crashing a vehicle. Anyway, for most of us life tends to be a bumper-car pavilion more than a smooth ride on a roadway with no traffic. My aunt wrote once on her Facebook page - "I like clear roads". I thought it was funny especially as she lives just outside of Boston so that is not a common event. I realized today I myself need to eat less and exercise more - something that is good for all of us. I had those 100 calorie Chocolate Chex mix today - one bag is not enough they're that good...
