Jornal de abbadabba, 01 jul 09

Happy July Everybody! I planned ahead today, but had to have something sweet for breakfast. I got a glazed stick and I wonder why they don't call them crullers anymore? I cut this one in half so my breakfast is still under 300 calories, including the broccoli and dip I will have for snack at meal 2.

In addition to losing body weight, I am trying to lose some stuff weight and some psychic weight too. My plan to clean my house and remodel my sewing room has stalled, but I think I just need to suck it up and pay someone to come in and clear the place out for me. I threw out a pile of household goods last fall, and now I can't even remember what those things were. But I do have a lot of space now which is really refreshing to see.

I can totally understand about the clutter around the house my bedroom is a mess of clothes that need to be sorted and sent out to goodwill but I cant seem to get my girlfriend to want to part with any of them. Even clothes that belong to her son that he has outgrown. I mean if I had it my way I would just gather up all the clothes and throw them in bags and haul them off to the salvation army and then just buy new ones :) that is what I am doing with mine tonight because they are all my skinny clothes that I will be able to fit in soon but when I lose the weight I want to treat myself to a new wardrobe :) Blessed Be Mark

I think it is that time of year where we want to be renewed and refreshed. If you can afford to hire someone to clear out the room for you, or buy a whole new wardrobe go for it. But if not take it in steps. One room at a time, or if that is still too much, one wall at a time. Split it up over several days if you have to. You will get to the bottom and feel a lot better knowing that it is done and you did. You will also feel that sense of accomplishment and not want to go back to how it was, if someone does it for you will be that eager to keep it that way. Or if you throw everything out and start all over will you only buy what you need and not go overboard so in 6 months your not looking at the same mess again. I wish you the best, God Bless.

Decluttering is good! It will help you stay balanced and make it easier to keep your goal insight instead of focusing on junk! Good luck this week!

I ate all of the glazed stick, but I spread it out throughout the day - that was yummy! Put away my laundry and now I am relaxing. Can't get motivated to clean yet but I am sticking with my points so far.
