Older daughter chipped her tooth, has to get it capped tomorrow. Also has to have some wisdom teeth out too. My dental bill is going to be awful. Oh, well.
Had a fine conversation with my ex yesterday - the first one on the phone and not email since July of last year. I realized that at least we are on the same page with a lot of issues with the girls - and he even said we should talk more often. Uh. ok. Actually had a comfortable feeling after I talked with him as he was respectful in what he said and in agreement with my plan for how much the girls have to pay for out of their incomes. Made me feel like perhaps the past 26 years weren't completely discarded between us. I am quite sure he means we'll be in contact about every 3 months rather than another 10 months going by before we chat again.
Thinking about moving to a nicer place, to a town that is more amenable to singles. I think it will take me a while to figure that out - the girls have 3 more years of school. The thought of remodeling has me overwhelmed.
Food - well, I got stuck on a project and didn't eat so I had snacks out of the vending machine for lunch. Not good. But still within my calorie range! lol!
I am taking a couple of days off and hope to get rejuvenated. Maybe I will buy a new bed while I am at it! Hiring the neighbor boys soon to get my garage cleared out. That will be really helpful! Also have to mow my lawn since it is now a foot high. Oh I hope my mower can manage it.
