what level resistance on the stationary bike? I say with level 6 and hit .25 miles/ minute. so 30 minutes is always 7.5 miles. that's good enough for me

marpingo, I was utterly dejected today and I did level 4😭😭 please don’t laugh. I don’t know what was wrong with me this evening, I just could not push myself. Do you have days like that? Stationary bike requires a lot of mental fortitude too otherwise it gets boring… I chose a wrong opera to begin with. A rubbish day.

Yes. I've removed my sleeveless to go full wife beater and deadlifted 255 just to make a point. I'm kind of an ass.

I've been making new playlists lately and that helps alot. Also, sometimes mentally I drift far away to the mountains of Montana, where I did some beautiful rides in my younger years 🚵♀️. stay strong!

marpingo, yes Montana is breathtakingly beautiful but imagery is not my forte… I’m auditory. And very very picky about music😂 even the room temperature affects what I want to listen. I’m a brat! Maybe stationary bike is not for me. I’ll try again on Wednesday. Tomorrow’s a pool day🏊♀️🏊🏊♂️ Thank you for the encouragement💕

I recently read an article about the 15 minute rotation ( Jennifer Aniston does it and who can beat her complexion?!) 15 minutes bike. 15 minutes elliptical and 15 minutes treadmill... it adds up... enjoy the pool tomorrow!!

Getting though a session when your not feeling it and not giving up? Amazing effort yfritz, you’ve got this, and remember when we spoke about the importance of playlist, specially on days your not feeling it, it’s more important to have that favourite playlist to get you through the 30 mins quickly, to take you away from why your doing and into a different headspace with the music.

I do a 20 min rotation in the gym during 'cardio week' 20 min bike, 20 min cross trainer, and 20 min stair climber.

I try to trick myself like that if I'm not feeling the energy, to push myself on or make myself go harder... I usually find on low motivation days I end up with a bigger workout and buzzing with the adrenaline afterwards .. like the mental effort it requires when you are off game, pays back bigger dividends. For an off day, you did amazing!! Try to recall it, when you feel off next time ... it'll help get you to it!!! WELL DONE :)
