Well, I am sore today from lifting yesterday! I read an article saying that people are adrift because their anchors have been cut. We anchor ourselves, our identities, in where we work, what we wear to different places, who we congregate with casually. So, with working from home, exercising at home, zooming to see our friends online from our dens or dining tables, we have fewer boundaries, fewer ties to looking good in a suit or getting that right pair of yoga pants for the gym, no new memories of a great place to eat, etc. I am feeling that. I guess that might get worse when I retire too. This week I focused on calling someone every day and getting my paperwork for my retirement application. Also, wrote a letter to the retirement board to encourage them to pass an early retirement bill going through the legislature. Fingers crossed, but I am to retire either way. Eating is ok today but I am going out to dinner so hope to keep the calories for the day not too bad. Hope you are doing ok these days!
