Happy Wednesday!
Sticking to healthy as much as possible - figured out I was the only one eating the treats left in the kitchen at work, so I threw them out! Saved myself from eating old, stale, mediocre chocolates (lol - old? stale? never stopped me before!)
I am working 6 am to 10 pm pretty much every day at my two jobs until tax season is over! Yikes. I really do have to eat well or I'll never make it. I set up my schedule to be able to contradance 3 nights, still - builds in seeing W at the same time! Already told him I'd be going to the spring festival April 16 with him, if my tax office lets me go!
I have switched my "usual" dinner at the diner, from steak tips to shrimp on salad, which has many fewer calories. The diner also changed brands of ranch dressing - the new brand is disgusting, thereby saving me about 150 calories there too. I bought yogurts on sale, my favorite brand and flavors, and I also decided to stick to the canteen truck sandwiches, since they are stingy on the mayo and count up to about 350 calories, even with the bread. Planning has to be the key here!
I am grateful for so much - mostly, the ethereal nature of memory. I can remember but not actually feel that I was unhappy in the past. I am focusing on gratitude very hard these days, and I feel the hope and promise of the New Year 2011. Practice kindness, buddies, to ourselves as well as others!
Happy Tax Season - file early and often hahaha! It's a tax preparer joke. (You should really only file once a year - don't get confused!)
