I got no yard work done today, even though I took the day off to do so. It was so hot I could not motivate myself to go out - it is also crazy muggy too.
Busy all day but I ate a little mindlessly badly - my friends met me at noon (yes, it was hot but we were in the shade) to pick blueberries. One of my dance friends has a field of blueberry bushes. One couple brought their baby so that was sweet. My one friend, the new mom, is the same age as my YOUNGER daughter so that is a little odd but we had a fun picnic and my other friend also came so it was great day. I got about a half a gallon of blueberries and will probably go back.
Then my friend and I went and we bought me a car! I got a good deal and my friend convinced me to give up my junker that I don't want to give up. Got $200 whole dollars in the trade-in for it! Ha. I am lucky they didn't make me pay them to take it!
And I sent Mr. Farmer a good morning picture of my parrots and then he texted me back: he is still away! Helping his son move and hopefully back next week. So, I had a doubly fun day getting texts and pics of his vacation spot, and sending messages and pics of my car purchase.
Tomorrow I will get my food in order and I am also going to the gym tomorrow. I have bumped up the water over the past 3 days and I have gotten a lot of steps going to the bathroom!
