Ahh, the holiday was lovely! My friends invited me over on Tuesday so that we could go to a party "out west" on Wednesday. My car made it out there, 40 miles, and they drove the rest of the way. They are a very sweet couple, he's kind of an egghead but she is grounded and likes him anyway so they are fun to hang out with.
I ate well although I did go over my calories the last two days. Will need to smooth out that calorie-in curve with some low days! Can't get my head around going to the gym with the heat and my gym buddy out of town but the weekend should be cooler and I have no plans so getting over to the gym could work well. And I am dancing tonight so still burning some calories.
Had a lovely text-chat with The Farmer. He might come to the dance tonight but he actually lives over 3 hours away so there is only a 50-50 chance. But no worries, there is always next week.
Going to try not to freeze to death in my office with the air conditioning!
