I am getting over my cold quite well. Long day - now my mother's best friend has died! Tsk, it never rains but it pours. Anyway, she is devastated - they used to talk every day, they taught in the same school.
My ex-to-be picked up his parrot today - it's very sad for me, because I never thought that my little bird friend would ever have to leave me. Two pounds I didn't want to lose!
Tomorrow is Easter, a day to celebrate a resurrection - I think it is a perfect season to reassess my life and realize that rising to glory is not done without suffering.
