On Christmas day I ate like it was my last day on earth, but pretty well followed my plan other than then. Had a wonderful day with family and then spent a couple of days at my Mom's helping her get her house back to normal. She had been in the hospital until Christmas afternoon. We were so glad she got home in time to celebrate the birth of our Saviour with her family. We had the turkey in the oven and everything else either cooking or chilling so she could just boss us around with the last of the prep! One more Christmas gathering to attend and then it's back on the straight and narrow. I know I should stick to the plan all the time, but on these special days with family and friends I let myself have whatever I want!! Then try and play catch up afterward and refuse to feel guilty.
