Today is Monday. Grocery stores will be busy with many customers preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday feasts.
This time of year is similar to the Japanese New Year. It has been a tradition since ancient times to eat seasonal dishes from the first to the third day of the New Year. In the past, there were no refrigerators, so a lot of sugar and salt were used when cooking to preserve food. It also means that families who can prepare such special dinners are wealthy. I think this is very similar to Thanksgiving dinner.
Having an appetite that allows you to eat delicious food means being healthy. And I feel blessed to be able to be in such an environment. Everyone, please stay safe and have fun this week, and feel deep gratitude.
