Allowed myself a little pity party most of yesterday. Finally reached out to my neighbor that wants to help me file for disability, a law firm that offers free consultations, & Ability 360 ( which turns out only helps people already ON Disability to find work. Have 2 phone calls scheduled for this afternoon for the atty & a financial consultant. It appears that my last 2 Days worked plus any PTO pay will be paid separately as they didn't reflect in today's paycheck. That means I will have to contact HR and verify UGH! Meanwhile have a list of job leads from my cousin and a good friend to follow up on. Keep those good vibes coming please 🙏🤞💓

Jeannie, I am SO HAPPY to hear about your neighbor and the calls to the law firm. I thought that was such a great suggestion of Kat's. That's what I'm sending my strongest vibes for. I got fired 5 years ago, from kind of a similar situation -- I had gotten out of a long-term nightmare job into basically the same thing wearing a slightly different pants suit. I literally thanked her when she fired me.i was like, you mean I get to never come in here again for a team meeting? Ok. I still have a lot of ptsd from the first place. I keep in pretty regular touch with a few former co-workers, and we've all moved on to way better things. You are so fun and talented and creative. I KNOW there are better jobs out there that are WORTHY of YOU! Sorry to yell, but I do believe it, dear!
