I ate a lot of foods on Super Bowl Sunday.
We don’t know about the rules of football at all, but we like to watch the beginning of ceremony and half time show.
My husband barbecued sockeye salmon, chicken drumettes, shrimp, ribeye and sweet potatoes.

To Kenna: Yes, that was sooo yummy! After cooking all protein, he put sweet potatoes for our dessert. Charcoal has more hotter than conventional oven, so that more sweetness we can taste. We always wonder which state has the most amazing barbecue restaurants that exist. Texas? We prefer to eat only with salt and pepper. If meat quality is superb, it doesn’t need any sauce. Southern style barbecue is just only sugary sauce taste. (We sometimes wonder while we eat southern style. “Are we eating meat or sugary sauce??” Too much sauce! LOL )

Harapeko, I am originally from Texas, but haved lived in Tennessee for the past 40 years. Texas specializes in beef BBQ. Tennessee specializes in pork BBQ. Most natives prefer their BBQ without sauce so they can taste the meat and smoke. When ordering BBQ, ask for "dry rub" with sauce on the side.

To Wifey9707 and Cmj29: Thank you. My husband is very enthusiastic about things he is interested in. When he bought a barbecue grill, he cooked meats every weekend to pursue how much charcoal should put inside of the grill, how long should cook, what kind of spice mixture, what kind of meats he should select, something like that. 3 years after the study(LOL), he finally invited his colleagues and served the results of his research. They said they would like to come over here for steak every weekend. Still, my husband pursues the best of best steak. LOL

To Larilyn: Thank you for letting me know the difference in areas. We love pork too! I would like to travel all over the place to taste like Michelin guide researcher. LOL I have never been to both of Texas and Tennessee. I would love to taste Tennessee whiskey as well. I don’t know when I can go there, but it makes me excited even I just think of that! Thank you! Today, I can spend whole day as if I were in Texas and Tennessee. (How easy to make me happy??)LOL
