Didn't eat at all yesterday, because I slept! Yes, miracle of miracles, I managed to sleep almost the entire day. After I notified my job I was taking PTO, and fed the Kitties, I slept. Woke up HOURS later to use the bathroom, and go back to bed. Woke up again when the monsoon blew thru, but blessed rain beating down on the roof, lulled me back to sleep for another round of hours. Got up when the 8:30pm alarm on my phone went off to feed the kitties and decided I wasn't really up to fixing/eating anything that late, so took my pills, waited the prerequisite time before heading back to bed! Then normality took over and I was up the usual 2 am, 3 am, 4 am, 5:30 am, and 6:30 am with plenty of turns and twists for pain relief in-between.

Not turning out to be a stellar day with first a call from my sil to let me know that my brother's prognosis is now only 6 months at most, and then to see what the freaking "Supreme" Court did. Seriously nightmare times ahead from what I can see. I can't believe that so many women out there are happily allowing us to go backwards to when we had no control. Choice in our own healthcare is just the one of the rights we're allowing to be stripped away. I realize FS is not the place for politics, but overall better health is one of our shared goals. So when we're back to needing a man's permission to see a Dr. (any Dr!) for any reason (UTI, STD, etc.) I'm truly frightened.

I hope you all have a good Friday, and maybe I'm still sleeping and this is just another weird dream.
