Thought my IBS was flaring up causing colon spasms, I have an antispasmodic that usually takes care of it. But this time it continued for 4 days getting worse every day. Went to the doctor yesterday and he ordered blood work and CT scan at the hospital. Find out my large and small intestines are infected! How in the heck does this happen?? Two different antibiotics later I can see a small improvement. He wanted to admit me to the hospital for IV antibiotics, but 2 of my grandkids are here for a week and I couldn't go off and leave them. If still having issues in 2 days I am to go back. When I eat it gets worse and hurts to dang bad, so at least I lost a pound! Glass half full!
