Jornal de Katsolo, 25 out 20

I took a day off from everything yesterday. Went walking and canyon hiking with the dogs, stayed away from computer and TV until nightfall. Wandered in the "safe" canyon with no plan and no time limit. Enjoyed that. Weather has cooled down a lot this week so it was really pleasant. Ended up resetting my watch as it kept asking if we were done as if resting even though I was literally climbing up the side of a hill. It also didn't count my mileage correctly. We'll see if that resolves it. Planning something similar today. Good for the doggies, good for me. Very few humans around where we were initially although we ended up taking a break in the park and pulling out foxtails from my silky girl. If I lay down in the grass at the park, the dogs will all do the same and then roll around looking ridiculous. This was not a trick I taught them, but it cracks me up. Also spent time admiring the decorations popping up this year.

Calories were a little high yesterday due to wine with dinner, but it was needed. Nothing fancy, Costco everyday red blend from local grapes.😉

Cooked another whole chicky and used a lot of thyme so the house smelled amazing.

Weather is the same today, so might do another canyon at the end of the street. I do need to get in the pool at some point but might just be for bubbles later. I feel better when I move, so must remember that always. It was a good day.
