Missy is home, barricaded in the kitchen, since I cannot take the day off to monitor her. She did well during the night and I didn't see any signs of vomiting after I fed her this morning. Waiting for all the test results now. One thing I wasn't aware of; my poor baby must have been shot with a BB back in 2007, before I rescued her, as that showed up on the x-rays yesterday. Keeping positive, and started the day with a very exciting call from a recruiter about a position that just might be my ticket out of this toxic work environment. Hoping for 2020 to be a better year for us all. Photo is from 2/2019 when Missy & LG both tried to claim territory on me in the recliner. Before Missy discovered her inner bully and joined Serena in the reign of terror against LG. Things are getting better, but still keeping LG in the guestroom when I'm not home to run interference. Glad that she's home. I know how stressful staying at the vet's can be for cats. When I adopted Callie I took her to the vet and was told the little lump that moved around near her stomach was a bb but she had healed around it. People can be so mean! I adopted her after feeding her for years even though apparently she had a home. When I found out her "owners" had moved I adopted her and made her an inside kitty.
