Ask your oncologist about precautions. I went to public places but usually wore a mask and used germx a lot. Occasionally I wore gloves too at places that I knew would be full of germs. One family Christmas gathering is held at a church and at least 2 of us, out of five, always get a stomach virus after that event. I wore gloves and a mask that year, made kids use germx after touching anything, didn’t let them go in the nursery and tried to keep everyone from hugging on us and it’s the first year in over a decade that nobody got sick!
