Day 39 Still at work - 4:30 in the morning. I have been eating less volume, but not really tracking the calories or points or anything - so, little progress on the weight loss front!
On the plus side, I have been exercising. Contra is great - I go 90 minutes Monday and Thursday, and 3 hours on Saturday. Got to weightlifting/BodyPump today - hope to go Thursday too.
I am taking a course on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm - this cuts into my Saturday! But I am hoping that I can get a part time job out of the training.
Next week is my nephew's wedding - I am going to see if I can get down to 156 or 157 for Saturday weigh in, which will indicate to me that my portion control is having some effect.

Sounds like you are doing well Abba. That dancing sounds like fun. It's great you found people to go with. For me that is half the battle. Most of my friends are married with children and don't have the freedom to go out like I do. Good luck on the portion control.

Actually, Cathy, I go alone - I have met some nice folks there, but it is all about the dancing and nothing else - which is fine of course! New friends with common interests!

I don't know but the chart looks pretty good to me abba. Once you break through your 156.0 resistance point, you are home free. :-) I hope you are well!

I googled contra dancing and looked at a lot of clips on You Tube. Very interesting stuff. Looks like a lot of fun. Glad you are getting out, meeting people, getting good exercise. AND it has to be good for the boredom that comes now and then. Have a great weekend Abba.
