Day 26
My Girl Scouts gave me a spa gift certificate and I went to use it today: had my eyebrows waxed and a make-up lesson! I am the type who never uses make-up, don't do my eyebrows, only had one manicure in my whole life. So this was a full 180 for me!
I will try to get pictures up here but take it from me, I look better with the eyebrows cleaned up! Now all I have to do is get out in some daylight some time...
Party planning for 10-10-10 has stalled but I have started writing out the invitation envelopes and bought the stamps. Gotta get my printer fixed to start printing out the invites or else get to Staples. I did post the invite on Facebook but I have some people who I know will like a paper invite!
I am drinking a lot more water - decided I just would after realizing that the contradancing just makes me drip with sweat. So I have cups set beside the sinks in my house, and when I see them, I take a drink of water, and I have one by my bedside as well, since I was waking up thirsty in the middle of my sleeptime. I think cutting back on food reduces how much water I get overall too, so I am adding the water.
Been a little disoriented now that my friends are back in school and not organizing nightly adventures! I have to make my own fun I guess.
Grateful for: beautiful weather, so comfortable to sleep in!
No one complaining about anything I am doing!
My boss is looking into getting me a promotion maybe.
Coffee, of course.
And 24-hour convenience stores near my construction site with great bathrooms.
