Alright, I have been busy but not in a losing-weight kind of way. My boyfriend left town to drive across country to pick up his daughters and visit friends and family with them. Literally drove to California and is driving back. He will be gone two months total - already 6 weeks he has been gone!
In the meantime, I have thrown out another 15 cubic yard dumpster full of stuff. I am redecorating my whole house, now that my housemate is gone. She moved out and now I have to clean the place to get rid of the dog smell.
What else? Yesterday was so hot my parrot was pissed off at me and kept biting me - up through Tuesday it was 75 degrees every day - then all of a sudden Wednesday and today are 95 degrees plus! I froze in my office and sweltered in my house - lost two pounds sweating! Hoping to get that weight back though because that was definitely not the way to go!
My younger daughter is home for the summer and we hang out watching TV - she gets annoyed every time I talk about getting new furniture - she thinks I have enough furniture already! Little does she know that I plan to throw some of the current items away! People do that - get rid of old dirty things and get new ones, it is just unusual for us after living with a semi-hoarder for 25 years.
So many changes! But good ones.

Hope you are well! Hang in there.

Yes. We are well. We have been missing you. To get rid of old, smelly things so that you can replace them with brand new ones is an AWESOME feeling! Congratulations on the hard work, the re-vamping of your home, and your efforts to stay extra productive during your guy's cross country drive. Hug that daughter. Sounds cliche - but it's true -- "they grow up so fast."

Glad you took my gentle advice today Julia. I have been missing you. It sounds like you have been so busy lately. It's great that the kids are home. Isn't it? Your daughter can keep you company while the boyfriend is away. So glad to hear you finally got rid of your roommate. Hopefully the smell of her dog will be gone soon. Now I want to see you back here tomorrow. Lots of changes in our lives. We have been blessed.
