Leg day with my trainer! Still chasing the elusive leg press increase. Sge had me do 4 sets, 10 reps at 220 lbs on leg press. Also alternated with front lunges,squats, and side lunges. Started w/o on eliptical and ended on bike.

Awesome job, Diana!!! 👏 👊 💥 You mean, you used the elliptical before strength training?!?! Wow! That's REALLY impressive! I would have been too spent after the elliptical to do strength training...lol.

Zenus, I do elliptical for a warm up. That's how I feel about the stairmaster. ( the one where you are actually climbing stairs) It wears me out so bad I can only do it at end of workout.

But seriously- to take it up a notch, I'd recommend going to failure , then push your knees with your hands to get the weight up and do some 8 second negative reps,

Redporch, thanks! I feel like time is running short to get good workouts in so I'm really trying. We are going camping for 2 weeks. Campground has a small gym so at least I can do a few thing ngs and stay consistent.🩷💪

YOH, Thanks! I'm tired...starting to get anxious about surgery as well. Wish I could've just done it while I was down there. Oh well...I'm just trying to get as many good workouts in B4 I won't be able to workout at all. Hope all is well with you!🩷

Warm up on the elliptical?? Hmmm... I just do 10-12 body weight squats, glute bridges, lunges, etc. Then, I do the first set of each exercise for that muscle with a lighter weight. 🤷‍♀️

I'm no personal trainer or anything, and probably not experienced enough in the gym to give advice, but I'm willing to bet that if you took it a little easier on the warm-up you could progress more on the press.
