ARNOLD-i watched the nexflix special on him yesterday. Yes, he’s from my era. Partially inspired by him at 18 to get into the gym. Even Arnold says he doesn’t like to look at himself in the mirror too much anymore at 75 years old. He’s not what he once was physically and he seems to have escaped steroids danger perhaps tho he would be in the minority. However, he had a heart operation when younger for same thing that killed his mom. Super interesting to see how driven he was. And, hard working. Yes, he freely admits he used steroids but more importantly he worked so hard to achieve what he set his mind to. Ideal physique, movie star, politician. He’s got loads of flaws but we could all learn from the mindset. Takeaway being, we have to work hard to be well.

Yep shrewd-he’s far from perfect but he got his handcuffed many times when trying to institute change. You think one pothole was something try living in Washington state with a political arm thats trying to lure every degenerate, criminal, unemployed, unstable person they can here, want folks that have worked so hard for decades to pay for all this and then dont understand why our crime rate has tripled in last five years, businesses are fleeing downtown and people who have lived here there entire lives want to leave. Our beautiful beautiful state.

I loved that Netflix series. I was especially impressed with his reflections on his divorce, the effect on his children, and his concern for the son he fathered. He was humbled.
