So, yesterday I did eat about 1300 calories as usual, but due to having signed up for the gym, I went to the gym and it was closed. Determined not to have to hear about my failure, I went to the track and walked 1.5 miles, ran 0.5 miles. I was beat. But I am going to the gym today to lift weights on the machines. Tomorrow is weigh in for Weight Watchers - I was the same on Sunday as last weigh in, so that could go either way depending on how today goes. No dinner yet, but so far I have only eaten 900 calories (guessing - I am logging over at sparkpeople.com).
My shoulder feels great - it has only been 4 weight lifting sessions, but already I have more flexibility and less pain. Maybe losing 8 pounds also helped. I tell everyone that I am trying to lose weight, because I know they will monitor what I eat and remind me not to eat that! And then they know why I say no to donuts, cake, etc. that are all over the place! I followed the menu plan today, mostly, and that was really easy. The sparkpeople site has menus prewritten, and a shopping list. I hate having to decide what to eat, figure out what to buy, decide what to cook. Bleh, I hate it. Having someone else's plan is great!
I have to say, the community on this site is very supportive, though, so I am here until you all get tired of reading my stuff! Well, maybe longer. I love to talk about myself!
There is a robin peeping outside my window - I wonder what he is up to? I have blackberries that I have to go out and pick - they were on my menu plan! And at $5 a pint at the store, I am going to brave the mosquitos to get the free ones in my yard!
So hot here, I am not feeling hungry. Maybe after I work out in the air conditioning I'll feel better - machine room here I come!
