Hanging in there weight staying the same. I received the terrible news that one of my sisters passed away in her sleep last week. She had been struggling with health issue for awhile now. She had gotten extremely heavy and diabetes had damaged her kidneys to the point she was on dialysis. She and I had so much fun together through the years. I love her deeply.
I'm still in the boot, went to the podiatrist last Thursday and she was great. Says I have sinus tarsi syndrome. Gave a steroid shot in my foot and I'm to stay off as much as possible for 2 weeks and then start PT.
Hubby is doing well, but still has a terrible limp. 2 more weeks til he goes back to the doctor. DIL has successful surgery last Tuesday. 3 screws installed in her tibia and now she is non weight bearing for 6 weeks. She is about to die of boredom!
It would seem we are a family of the walking wounded!!

Condolences to you for the loss of your sister. It surprised me when I lost mine last year and it affected me more than I thought it would. So sorry about you all having such trouble walking. I too have been in that category for 4 weeks now with sciatica so I sympathize. Thank you for your support and prayers. You've been the most faithful in inquiring about me and my wellbeing and I appreciate you so much! I'm lonely and in limbo but hanging in there. I was so sorry to offend those 2 people but was able to apologize on one of their sites. The other person had a closed site. I get to go to church today but it is a very small very old congregation, but Wednesday get to go back to my senior prayer group where I can ask for prayer.
