Weather here on the island has been less than ideal. Chilly and windy. Gale warnings a couple of days. Surf has been really rough. I have done very little walking, but have gotten in some retail therapy. Hubby is having lots of trouble with a hip. He got a steroid shot in the joint the day before we left and thought it was going to do wonders. I helped some, but he still can't do much walking. Purchased a cane and that has helped. Wondering if we should have stayed home. He has an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon a couple of weeks after we get home. Probably looking at hip replacement. I hate to see him in pain. Enjoying the Olympics.

Hi Rhontique,
The weather will improve. My husband was scheduled for hip replacement, but it was cancelled when the Covid cases surged and the hospital had staffing shortages. I've had him on collagen and his pain has decreased. He's walking better and wondering if he really needs the surgery at this point. You could try it while he's waiting , maybe it would help him too. Best to you both!
