Recap: I gained 3 pounds this year. According to my scale, those 3 pounds are muscle. My BFF and I signed up for a class on how to increase bone density, which is basically a weight-lifting class. I plan to watch the zoom training while at my gym so I can use their weights. Probably the fancy place will have more space to use but it will depend on what other classes are going to be offered on the Tuesday/Thursday schedules, so maybe I will alternate.
although I have my sense of taste back, I don't quite have the same appetite. Have been trying to absorb some lessons to get to my inner motivation, so maybe that is part of it? I weigh myself all the time, but the Friday and Monday weights are the ones I really look at. Also keeping track of those until the end of a month, so my weight history is month to month.

Can you tell me more about the bone density / lifting class? I am super interested in doing something like that.

@jazzylittleone weightlifting is a bone-building exercise. For women, you have to make sure you get about 1000 mg of calcium each day also. More if you are younger I think. I can post more about the class as we go along, but it seems like a standard weight-lifting class with maybe some nutrition thrown in too.

Thanks! Would love if you could share more about the class, if it is online, and if you would recommend it. I lifted long ago but it was with a trainer at the gym. Sadly there are no gyms near me that enforce the state mask mandates so I would like to start doing something online.
