Those temps are unreal! We got in the upper 80's today, but overall it wasn't too bad. I got hot cause I was outside gardening but had the nice, cool air-conditioning to escape to afterwards.

Yeah, same with my lilies. I don't even want to check on my tomato plants. Supposed to top out at 118 tomorrow. There are talks of possible rolling black outs. Stay safe!

We are OK, Becky. We have an AC in one bedroom which has held the temperatures at about 85. It feels cool and we can congregate in there when it is too hot. The cats, a crested gecko and a daughter's rat have all been crowded together in there sharing our some cool air! 👍😀

This is the hottest day on record in Seattle area... Not for June or this day of the year... Hottest day ever since they started recording. I'm glad you got some work done on your beautiful property! 😁

Thank you, suereichert! It will be cooler tomorrow! Sk, isn't it a little heartbreaking? I do have a lot of bud coming that will be fine, but some of my bushes will take a good many weeks to recover and bloom again.

Melissa here on the East Coast we are also in a heat wave. Yesterday was 106. I thought I was going to die. Very unusual for us and most people cannot handle it, including me. I must say though it was a NSV of sorts. I felt much cooler than I did 40+ pounds ago in these temperatures. ❤️🔥

106 in Knappa (Astoria) during the heat wave. We had four fans going in the living room as we don’t have air conditioning. Portland was 114 yesterday. Insanity! Back in the 70’s today 😅
