Jornal de abbadabba, 30 dez 10

I took today off work and I have off Friday - 4 day weekend! today was great - my daughters showed up finally on Wednesday after DAYS of travel! We went to visit my cousins Wednesday night - a good time was had by all! Today my father and my siblings came for a late lunch, and put out a nice feast for them. My nephew Teddy who is 7 just latched on to my roommate's dog and walked her around and ran her up and down our hill - poor doggy must be exhausted! Teddy had fun though.

My family left, my younger daughter went to a sleepover, and my older one started playing one of the video games she got for Christmas - we won't see her unless we insist she pause and come and eat! So, I went to contradancing and Woody was there! Many dances later, he walked me to my car and made sure I was going to the dance tomorrow night for New Year's eve - and also asked me if I was going to get there on time which I guess means that he would be bummed out if I show up late like I usually do. So, I don't know how this will work out but I am not worried about it - too much!

You'd think that I'd be motivated to lose weight so I can be tip-top for dating but I am not. I really have to stop going to parties but I have the one tomorrow, and one Saturday afternoon! Then I will buckle down - really!

Can't even remember what I ate today but the fast did not happen so it was a lot. I'll try to reconstruct tomorrow. Also the party tomorrow is potluck so I can bring a veggie platter or something healthy.
