Very busy today - huge snow storm predicted with 18 inches of snow coming my way. I live at the end of a dead end, also, which means that the plows push all the snow down into my driveway - I have to position my cars so I can get out in the morning and not get plowed in!
Funny story from Christmas: my brother has two sons, Gus who is 10 and Teddy who is 7. Our family custom is to eat dinner and then sit around telling jokes - so hysterical! Turns out the boys remember every joke ever told to them. Well, almost remember! My BIL told them this slightly risque one: A giraffe walks into a bar, and says "The highballs are 'on me'!"
Teddy's turn to tell a joke comes up and he tells it this way: A giraffe walks into a bar and says "The large balls are mine!" OMG we were ROLLING ON THE FLOOR! My brother had to deconstruct the whole joke for him, explaining "highball", "on me", and why the joke was a double entendre. Too funny!
We had a really sweet Christmas day; I was among people who love me. My daughters come home tomorrow - we'll have two more Christmas parties this week with more people who love us. Can't wait!

:) Kids will say the craziest stuff but speak their mind usually! That was funny! You must be within hours from me as we're expecting 15 - 20 inches here in much of southern New England except the Cape and Islands, where it's likely to be all or mostly rain. My youngest niece sounds a lot like her cousin who is nearly twenty years older, she has the same kind of responses to things as her much older cousin. She has the tone of voice of her cousin too, with just a bit of it noticeable from her dad too, who is who knows where? I hope you don't get snowed in and can get out OK as needed...

So happy you had a great Christmas and will be having more with your daughters. I hope you don't get as much snow as expected. That's lots of snow. lol Momof2(Sarah) has a pic posted on facebook and they have tons of snow where she is. It is snowing here now but I've been sick since Christmas Eve and haven't even had the tv on. Take care Abba!!

Hi Abba, I am glad you spent time with loved ones this year. The plus of your daughters there is added pleasure. Hope your New Year is great no matter what you decide to do. After New Years, we all need to be diligent and really strive to get where we are going with our weight. I am starting anew on Jan 2nd. It's a Sunday and I can clean out my frig and put good healthy stuff in! Have a wonderful week Abba and, again, enjoy your New Years whatever you do.
