Test run on the Cuisinart air fryer oven. Truly small footprint, will see if mom wants it or not. She forgot I had ordered it and bought one somewhere else. I'm just playing with it. Takes same amount of time as the IP air fryer lid if you include the warming up. Doesn't seem to overheat the kitchen. I may keep it if she decides she doesn't want it. Lets me put the IP back to use as a pressure cooker without having to wash it between tasks. Any requests? Potatoes for dinner, maybe?

I don't have a zucchini in house at the moment, will see what onions require. I have to be in the mood. Also, a secret, since I tend to eat less at night, I don't always eat veggies then. I did have a huge kale salad with these, but on a separate plate.

Close, but not quite. Chicken tenderloins and I can cook them from frozen in 12 minutes which is why you see them so often. Chicken boobs require defrosting and planning ahead. I'm just not there right now.

LOL, pic is of today's lunch without the kale salad background because I was busy. I was asking about requests for what to try cooking tonight except now mom wants to see the cooker and I'm betting she'll want to keep it.

Maybe. I’ve been considering one also. What do I need to know? Is it a freak me out like a pressure cooker? If so, I’ll pass. Those things give me nightmares!! 🥺

I just loaned mom the instant pot air fryer lid which I've been using for about two years now. That's a big fan with a heating element that sits on top of the IP. She thinks this oven is cute, but wants a convection microwave now. I'm keeping this to play with for now. It's effectively a digital toaster oven with a fan which moves the heated air around. A basket with feet allows air to circulate and "air fry" things. Seems well insulated, didn't heat up the kitchen much, and doesn't pull on my power too much. I'll do a post with pics once I make some dinner. I think I have one sweet potato left and that sounds good to me right now, so that's what we'll make. Cottage cheese for protein.
