having trouble keeping my carbs under 20..I keep getting around 22-23

I think that is close enough. With your exercise you probably will still go in ketosis with those numbers. What is your experience from last time you did keto?

It's been so many years since I tried to get in to ketosis religiously. In the past I found I can't lose doing just calorie counting, found Atkins and saw that I finally did lose weight if I did 20 net carbs. Then over time I saw that if I was just close to 20 it was fine and I still lost...but this time around I'm trying to reach ketosis to try and get the best results before summer

Don’t worry too much about it. It does sound like your body doesn’t tolerate carbs very well, but you’re pretty active. It may take a little longer to get into ketosis, but you will.
Lifting heavy and sprinting will burn some of that stored glycogen to help you get into ketosis.

I really have to plan carefully the night before to adjust for net carbs ,20g and fat over 70%,
