This is what happens when you don't log your food and stay away from fatsecret. The last few days I logged my food just to see how bad it's been, eating whatever I wanted. I didn't even try to restrict my eating. I just ate whatever I was craving. That included gluten. I had plenty of pickle juice in the house for the Charley horses. Now the raw mouth and achy joints are in play. Next come the IBS and skin lesions. I hope I've stopped in time to avoid those. It will take a few weeks to get the gluten out of my system. I feel like I'm trying suicide by food. I don't think I've eaten enough gluten for the anemia to kick in full force. I'm going to try really hard to get back on my eating plan. I feel like my brain has short circuited.

I think that healthy eating is about health. I'm with you, I feel like crap when I eat badly. Well, hopefully your little sojourn into careless eating will reinforce your motives to take good care of yourself. We do this to feel well, and the weight loss is the bonus. Be well, take care.

I hear you. I call it stress eating. When I have things in control and am happy, it's easier to think about myself and eating more nutritious foods. You have been busy with social events, which is great! I have just been sitting here for weeks and weeks waiting for something to happen ... like getting my kitchen reno done. Long story, but the second insurance check has arrived and we have found a nice person to do floor. YAY! I have missed you, Bonnie. We both need to get our butts back in gear. Hugs!

Welcome back. Take care of yourself. IBS is a bitch -- at least I don't have the other nasty things that go along with true gluten intolerance. Don't make yourself suffer any longer. Routing for you to get back on plan and feel better about yourself.

I did that awhile back! I was on a downward spiral then I started logging my crap food sessions for a couple of days and got myself right back on track. In my defense I did take 11 days off to quit smoking but ... It's been almost a week now that I've been back and I feel great. I seem to get to goal then waiver then I spend all this time getting back to goal. So silly, it is mental!!

Girlfriend, I won't go into all of my medical issues, tired of thinking about them. I am back too. Seems as though neither one of us can stay away for too long or we fall by the wayside. We have come too far to let that happen. Big hug!!! :)
