I'm sure this is from the extra salt and dessert I ate on Easter..I don't usually weigh on Tuesday but I go to nutritionist today. We will see how that goes...
Went to Calif for Easter to see my mom, sisters, and brother. Mom isn't doing well. It was nice to spend time with her though. 💜💜💜🙏🙏

Buenita, thank you. Her quality of life is not good. She is 95 and is in so much pain. She can no longer shower herself, getting up and down out of her chair is difficult, and her hands are all curled up from her arthritis. She just keeps asking why the Lord won't take her home...it's so sad and I feel so conflicted. 💜💜

Diana I'm so sorry you are suffering along with your Mom, in a different but substantial way. I'm so sorry about her pain & infirmity - & it's so hard to see our strong parents like that. Especially when we can't do much to help them. Giving love & comfort seems insignificant, but I think they appreciate it. In the end, love is all that matters, not clothes or stuff. I'm glad you were able to spend time with her even though it's hard. Hugs during this difficult time.

Kenna, thanks. It is a difficult time. I can handle the feebleness but to see her in such pain is very hard.💜 Hazel, thank you for your kind words. While I was there I tried to do some of her favorite things with her and she loves talking about her childhood lately so I encouraged her to tell me stories. They are quite interesting as my mom is German and she was around 12 during WWII. She escaped from the Russians when they invaded my great grandparents home. Lots of stuff like that.💜
