Wow the leg DOMS are bad today. I went hard at squats on Friday with light weight ,ATG , high reps, high set count. Busy day planned for today with lots of walking around should be interesting 😄. 

spent the morning watching the highlands games with the family. those 6 foot 6 275lb giants sold me on buying a kilt just pure unobstructed movement and a nice breeze. perfect for workouts 💪 now My son wants us to start throwing giant hammers and rocks in the back yard hahah. my daughter was completely mesmerized by the Irish step dancers  

Awesome man! I’m Scottish American, so I have a kilt too! I play the Bagpipes, and we have guys in our band who also compete in the athletics, and kids who do the dancing — both Scottish and Irish. A day at the games is always a good day! 

I’m part Scottish too (aren’t most of us either Scottish or Irish mix). My dad’s people were a band of thieves and the whole group made it to America (a few on the Mayflower) just ahead of the hangman.  

Hey there! My grandpa was born in Aryshire... I even know the street where his mother lived... I must get to Scotland... must.

otb123, the Irish in me is from Downpatrick. I can't prove this with genealogy but relatively certain my Scottish ancestors are originally from Wales... the Welsh were looked down upon by those from UK... funny how the 'us vs them' dynamic plays itself out over history... I think it is safe to assume that the Welsh ancestors got tired of poor treatment and migrated north...

gwzfire getting into the genealogy stuff can be alot of fun my wife makes fun of me because she knows all of her lineage fully but shes also 50 polish/50 Italian and I'm 50 irish/50 italian on one side and a complete mutt on my dad's side lots of intermingling between different countries in that region so alittle bit of all of them it seams.
