Thank you Mer. No, just local anesthetic, but it doesn't even seem like oral surgery. He must use something magical, because I don't ever feel pain after he works on me. Mer, find a dentist that you are comfortable with and understands your fears and concerns. This doctor and staff completely understands my situation with the fibromyalgia and are genuinely so kind. There are questions on the forms they gave me when I first starting go there, that asked about passed negative experiences and the like, so they are very sensitive to that. And yes you're right about cruchy foods I'll be able to eat later. I'm already making a list! 😄

Thank you Gib. 💕 I go back next week for the impression for the crown. I'm thinking I'm in decent health because I had already stopped bleeding when I got out of the chair. That or I don't have that much blood in my system. 😉

Wow Becky, it sounds just as if you had a crown put on, AMAZING!!! 😦 I hate dentistry and married into a family of all dentists, except my hubby, the black sheep.😀 I was sure it would have been more traumatic!😳 Blessings, and glad it all went well my friend!❤️🌺🌸🌼🌻 

Shrew, I'm telling you, I think there's magic involved! 🎩 I was a bit nervous, but didn't show it or I thought I was hiding it. I have this little routine of self talk I do when I'm in a stressful situation. I also dig my thumb nail into my other thumb to divert pain. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but it works for me. 🥴🤷🏻‍♀️ Geez, with a family full of dentists, I would be hesitant to even smile around them, fearing they'd whip out an instrument and say something like, "hold on, I think I saw something". 😁 

I only let my loving father-in-law, go in my mouth, no one else!!!!!🤨 When I am in the dentist chair it is very sad, for I continually talk with the Lord. I am sure He is thinking, yeah, where were you yesterday?! I also clinch a Kleenex so tight, even if nothing is hurting, just out of nervousness, that it turns into embarrassing shreds! My dentist now is excellent and a little magical too. 👍 I think it’s the excellent equipment that makes it so. Don’t ever go to a dentist that doesn’t invest in his office.💕🌸

Sorry I’m so late to support you Becky. I hope all your procedures go well. I hate the dentist too but it is necessary and not something I avoid. Avoiding it leads to more trouble is what I’ve learned from others. You’ll be ok. ❤️
