Wake up 2 hours early, and saw a big scorpion for the first time. By the time I got my mobile to take a photo it had found a place to hide. It was a bit more scary than I expected a scorpion to be like. Huge claws ready for action and this tale going up and down. Sit here with my coffee, and look around my feet more than usual. :)

I know. I thought scorpions were small. This one seem to be 6 inch long, and was walking pretty fast. At my first look, I thought it was a lizard with something in the mouth... till I had a closer look.

I remember finding a big one on my front porch when I lived in Phoenix, sprayed it with wasp spray from 20 feet away. It was 7 inches long! Shudder!
